Very nice bench. I’ve been going to a commercial gym for years and this is my first time branching out into getting home gym equipment. I don’t at all feel like I’m compromising. The padding, vinyl, and stability all feel great. I will say that I’ve never been particular about “0 gap” so I have no clue if this bench is good for that or not. It has a very wide stance which is nice. I’m using it in medium ply carpet with a thin cushion under it and can still reasonably do dips and pulls which only minor wobbling (definitely 100% the carpets fault). Almost no complaints but I did have some minor damage to my front foot plate which was disappointing while unboxing but thay I don’t even notice now. Also the knurling on the knobs that secure the attachments (not the spring pins) is very very mild. The spring pin knurling great but when sweating I have a hard time with the secondary knobs. But overall fantastic bench and I would recommend to anyone. Especially someone who has very little space because the attachments are great (will write separate review on them)

Awesome piece of equipment! I have an Oxefit, which is a great cable based smart gym, but pairing it up with the Apex ecosystem takes it to the next level. For years I’ve had a crappy $70 bench and finally decided to treat myself and boy did I make the right choice. Every inch of this machine is refined with careful attention to detail. From the fabric to the pop pins to the knurling on the carry handle. Everything screams attention to detail and luxury. The only negative feedback is it’s hard to see the incline angle number you’re selecting due to the pop pin location. Other than that best gym piece I’ve ever purchased! I’ve been missing this in my life for years!!!

As a sleep deprived father of a 5 month old who also happens to be a physical therapist, this bench is great! The packaging is super organized and well thought out for assembly. The bench has absolutely no wobble when using it for heavy lifting, which is very important to prevent injury. The ladder system is smooth and quiet (helpful when the baby is napping). I would highly recommend this bench for anyone looking for a solid foundation for their home gym. This bench would also be great for any physical therapy office since it is highly adjustable and can be used for all sorts of rehab exercises with all the attachments available. Now back to my na.. I mean work out!

As a standalone bench, I love it. The vertical storage is really helpful for saving space. It has a nice handle for lifting it up and the wheels make it easy to move. It's very stable and the pad is comfortable. The back pad is nice and long. I love how many adjustment options there are and that they're labeled in the metal instead of stickers that can fall off. Also, all the knurled knobs are classy as heck

I have had the Apex bench for a couple of weeks now, and I couldn't be happier with it. The quality is incredible...it puts public gym benches to shame. Every detail on this bench shows thought and consideration. The padding feels great, the height is perfect, and the vinyl they use is grippy without being too grippy. It's just right.
The bench on its own is amazing, but so is the ecosystem. I also purchased the Stryker pad and leg extension attachment, and both are of equal quality. Everything comes with well-written, easy-to-follow directions. They even take it a step further by providing individual bags with the hardware labeled for each specific step. This little detail makes installation a breeze. You will not be disappointed if you choose this bench and its ecosystem.

I did a ton of research looking for the best possible bench for all the different lifts I had in mind for my home gym. None of them really fit exactly what I was looking for. I stumbled across a video by the Garage Gym Review's YouTube channel about the Apex bench and ecosystem. As soon as I saw the video I knew this bench was the bench I wanted for my gym. It has a lot of the attachments I would like plus it inclines and declines for press movements. I also purchased the striker pad along side the bench and could be happier with some of the movements I've figured out that aren't even advertised by Apex. The quality of the vinyl is unmatched from other benches I've used. And all together its a sturdy and I believe will hold up over time. Would recommend to anyone!

Really happy with the Apex Fitness bench press. It feels solid and sturdy, was easy to set up, and has been great for home workouts. The bench feels stable even with heavier weight, and overall the quality is better than I expected.
Apparently my cat is a fan too—within about five minutes he decided it was actually an expensive new cat bed. So far, 10/10 from both of us.

This bench is a beast! I've had it for nearly 2 weeks now and it's been a wonderful 2 weeks haha. Paired with a separate set of 80lb adjustable dumbbells, i can work nearly my entire body from the comfort of my own apartment while i study medicine. Exceptional bench, the quality for the bench itself is second to none, the padding is amazing, the bench is the perfect width for heavy lifts and box squats, and it’s a tank I’m not worried on super lifts. This equipment is amazing! My workouts have been enhanced so greatly by using this bench that I no longer need to go to the gym. It’s easy to move around but stable enough for me to do my heaviest lift. It’s also really versatile, allowing me to do all sorts of exercises with ease. I don't leave reviews but in this case I have to. I'm so impressed with this bench and the quality. It started with the packing, it all was clearly labeled and well protected and was in perfect shape even after the carrier who delivered it must have clearly had an accident with it. Then assembly was so easy with crazy easy instructions and labels. Now that it's together, it's very solid and easy to use. Easy to move and put attachments on. It's going to last longer than me.

This bench is awesome! I was debating between the Apex bench and the Rep Nighthawk and I’m glad I picked this. The build quality is great, it feels overbuilt and sturdy. I really like that the main structure came in one piece and just needed the cushion and feet to be attached. Assembly was super easy.
The bench padding is nice and firm and sticky, you don’t move when pressing and the height is great you can really plant your feet and press.
We also grabbed the Stryker pad to do shoulder press and preachers and it’s great too.
Can’t recommend this bench enough, I only wish I was able to get it in stainless steel or the Clear coat!

Pretty much the best bench I've use.
Honestly the only negative I would have is the weight, but it's so sturdy and doesn't move when using, so I can't even complain.
Definitely looking forward to when more attachments get announced.

This bench has been amazing, and I haven’t even purchased a single attachment yet! I had been researching benches for months, and I had decided to wait until this one was released. It was certainly worth the wait! I can’t comment on any of the attachments yet, but I think it’s the best bench on the market even without the attachments! I was worried about the bench gap before my purchase, but to be honest, I never even notice it. It’s sturdy but still light enough for my wife to move around easily. Highly recommend this bench for anyone building out their home gym!

There were times when I was unsure if I made the correct decision about leaving a commercial gym, but with all of the attachments available for this bench, I've found there is nothing I can't do at home now. I’m so excited for the future of this bench! One of the top benches on its own and already the largest ecosystem of attachments. I’ve also noticed when looking through everything they gave in the box they’re teasing more attachments, storage, and color change plates for even more customization. Solid bench. I bought it mainly for incline work and it's been smooth so far. Adjustments are easy to lock in and it feels sturdy under load, no wobble or flex when I'm pressing.
I haven't picked up any attachments yet, but that's the part that sold me on this over a standard bench. Knowing I can add the belt squat or dip attachment down the road without buying a whole new setup makes this feel less like a bench and more like a long-term investment in my gym.
No complaints so far. Does what I need it to do and I'm looking forward to building out the ecosystem.

Very solid bench. My primary experience with benches is the SCS bench, as well as various commercial gym benches. This is definitely a more robust offering than I've used before. I accidentally ordered it in black but ordering a new colored plate was both surprisingly cheap and easy to swap. I do recommend a different color just to make the numbers more legible in low-light. Both options I've seen in person look great.
The padding is nice and firm. Having so many inclination options both in the back pad and seat is very nice. You may not need the options but as someone that records my preferred positions for various exercises I appreciate the granularity. It was also surprisingly easy to put together despite being so sturdy. When it was shipped to me there was a very large gash in the packaging (I'm sure an accident with the mail carrier) but the bench inside was still pristine. It is definitely the heaviest bench I've ever moved around a gym, and that might be a bit annoying for some. The benefit is that it's less likely to move for leveraged exercises like cable rows or pulldowns. I used it for a week or two with the base seat pad before I received the split-seat pad with the Nordic Max and I can't tell the difference between the two. Being able to store it vertically is absolutely wonderful.
Some minor issues would be the tightening features for the accessories. Some of the primary knobs require some real force to tighten due to the tolerances of the screw. The secondary tightening knobs are a great feature, and they work well to really cinch in the accessories, but they're so close to the padding that I am unable to use my palm, or even most of my fingers to tighten and untighten them, and am reliant on my finger tips for the most part. The hinge between the padding is also more pronounced than any bench I've used before. While it's generally very comfortable to use the first few times lying down on the bench from a sitting position (such as setting up dumbbell bench press) were...decidedly not pleasant rolling over the hinge before I got used to it. Not a long term problem, just something to get used to.
Overall I don't think I've used a bench better than this. It is considerably less expensive than my previous SCS bench, and comes with far more features even before you consider optional attachments.

First off, I love this bench and the attachments, beats the Ironmaster bench by far. With that being said, it does have your typical manufactured in China issues. It was packaged very well and there was no damage to the boxes yet there were still a couple areas where the powder coat was damaged and the bench pads had some scuffs, these were very minor and nothing a paint pen didnt fix. The scuffs on the padding are hardly noticable. The tools included might do if you dont have your own tools but if you do I suggest using those as some of the pins were difficult to thread probably due to the powder coating. Removing the plugs for the band pegs was not going to happen with the included tool, had to use a crescent wrench and then it was no problem. Overall I am very happy with the bench and it is a beast.

Amazing quality. I've purchased two separate benches for my home gym, and this one stands out in terms of build quality and the available attachments. It feels sturdy and amazing size.
The biggest issue is comfort. The gap between the seat and the back pad is very noticeable because there's a large metal support bar directly in it. On my cheap Amazon bench and even an old bench from 1999, the hinge/support sits lower, so you never actually feel it while lifting.
On this bench, if your lower back or butt ends up over that gap, you'll definitely notice the bar. It was almost enough to make me regret the purchase. Thankfully, you can adjust your sitting position to avoid it most of the time, and I ended up placing a small foam pad over the area, which helped significantly.
Besides that one caveat, it's an excellent bench. If the hinge/support were redesigned so the metal sat lower beneath the pads, this would easily be a 5-star product and wish it was thought of before finalizing the design may even alter the design myself.
would reccomend the bench to anyone and will continue to expand the ecosystem of the bench as the attachments are extremely high quality aswell.

Happy I waited for the Apex bench. It is great. Very solid and build quality is top notch. They took time to really think through the design and the overall details. I ended up ordering the Leg Developer, Stryker Pad, and Nordic Max. The leg developer isn’t cheaply made and really feels good when working using. It is a bit hard to connect to bench, but I’m sure I’ll get the routine down the more I use. Really excited to start using the other accessories too. I will say that the other accessories seem very solid and have little play when connected. Just be sure to tighten the knobs to secure fully.

Apex Fitness did an amazing job with this bench. It's solid, stable, incredible adjustability to suit any exercise and an abundant attachment ecosystem. I replaced my IM bench and ecosystem with the Apex and I have no regrets. It's built like a beast for beast mode training.
Cheat code for those with the blue bench that want some cheap bling. A couple of layers of blue painters tape under the front floor pad or under the Stryker pad gives a little extra pop.

Everything about the bench screams quality. So well built and I have no doubts I will give out before this bench does. The adjustability is quick and easy while the padding is just right.
